Remembrance Sunday at St Agatha's Church

This Remembrance Sunday, a Sung Requiem Mass was celebrated to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.

We are very grateful for the organist, Tony Ackermann, the trumpeter Michael Morton and Mark Burgess and his choir.

Vestment Exhibition Dates Announced

The dates for the 2013 Vestment exhibition have been announced. Historic embroideries of the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries will be displayed at St Agatha's Church from Tuesday 10th September 2013 to Saturday 21st September 2013 from 10am to 4pm. Bookings for study days can be made by email - please see the Contacts page.

Today's "Mainland Mass", held by the Isle of Wight & Portsmouth Group of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham in the Catholic Church in England and Wales, was well-attended with increasing numbers. We were very pleased to welcome members of the Bournemouth Area Group of the Ordinariate.
